Key Directions and Achievements of Institutional Cooperation at the International European University (IEU)

1. Expansion of Partnership Relations

In recent years, the University has signed 35 new partnership agreements with medical institutions, universities, and research organizations both in Ukraine and abroad.
To ensure clinical training for students and interns, IEU cooperates with a wide network of facilities covering a broad range of medical specialties — including obstetrics and gynecology, anesthesiology, internal medicine, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, psychiatry, and surgery.
Training bases include both public and private clinics, medical centers, and specialized hospitals at the national and international levels.

2. Programs of Secondary Medical Specialization

IEU implements and supports programs of secondary medical specialization, developed in collaboration with clinical bases.
These programs include such disciplines as dermatovenereology, immunology, ultrasound diagnostics, clinical oncology, psychiatry, and others.
The list of training bases comprises university hospitals and specialized medical institutions that have formal cooperation agreements with IEU.

3. Student Exchanges and International Mobility

The University runs student exchange programs with foreign partners, supporting both outbound and inbound academic mobility.
IEU regularly conducts satisfaction surveys among participants to assess the effectiveness and quality of these programs.
The geography of cooperation is constantly expanding and currently includes multiple countries across Europe and beyond.

4. Joint Research Projects and Publications

IEU actively participates in international scientific projects focused on disease surveillance, diagnostic and therapeutic standards, mental health, and infection-related studies.
Joint publications with national and foreign partners are regularly featured in peer-reviewed international journals.
The University also submits and successfully implements grant applications to fund international research and academic initiatives.

5. Digitalization and Infrastructure Innovation

IEU has developed a digital system for automating application, registration, and documentation processes related to postgraduate education and Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
The University continues to invest in digital infrastructure that enhances coordination among departments and external partners.

6. Social Engagement and Volunteer Initiatives

IEU is deeply committed to community service through various projects, including:

  • Tactical medicine training;
  • Screening programs (e.g., diabetic retinopathy diagnostics using fundus cameras and cloud-based technologies);
  • Volunteer support for clinical alliance hospitals;
  • Public awareness and educational outreach activities.

In total, the University has implemented over 30 social initiatives, benefiting thousands of students, faculty members, and local community participants.
